Be Encouraged Today. Your help is in the Lord. Talk to mountains? Yea, right! Do you think I'm crazy? ""For assuredly, I say to you, who ever says to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea and does NOT doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says."" Mark 11:23 Jesus talked to things, and He taught us that whoever could talk could also speak to mountains. A mountain is any obstacle or problem that stands in your way. As Christians we are faced with many mountains every day but Jesus told us to speak directly to the mountain and tell it to be removed. Most Christians pray and speak to God but most Christians do not speak to their mountain. There is nothing wrong with discussing things with God. In fact we should be doing this daily. But when something like a mountain is blocking your progress, Jesus said we should tell it to get out of the way. Most of us speak to God about the mountains, obstacle and problems in our lives instead of following Jesus' directions by speaking directly to the mountain. God wants us to take authority in His name and move the mountain that is stopping us from living our lives abundantly and serving God fully. So are you just talking to God about the problems in your life, instead of talking directly to the problems and telling them to be removed? Read what Jesus said . . . ""Because of your unbelief, for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, move from here to there and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you"" Matthew 17:20 According to Jesus, unbelief keeps us from speaking to our mountains. Sometimes it's lack of knowledge as well. So, what is the mountain in your life? What stands in the way of your progress? What's holding you back from going forward and fulfilling God's plan for you? Today, I want to encourage you to SPEAK God's Word to that mountain! Speak to the devil and his forces and tell them to get out of your affairs. Tell them to take their hands off of you, your family, possessions and finances. Step forward and take the authority that Jesus has given to each one of us who believe in Him. Speak to the sickness and tell it that it can't stay in your body. Speak to the debt and your financial lack and tell them to be removed from your life. Speak to doubt, fear and worry and tell them to be gone in the name of Jesus. If you say, ""I just can't believe it would do any good for me to talk to the problems,"" guess what? That's why you still have them. READ what Jesus said again and again and again. Say this. ""I will speak to the mountain that tries to hold me back,"" I will speak to the mountains and stand victoriously with the Lord by my side,"" "" I will speak of His love, mercy and power forever and ever.""
